A couple, both aged 75, went to the doctor’s office.
The doctor asked, “How can I help you?”
The man replied, “Would you mind observing us while we share some intimacy?”
The doctor was a bit puzzled but agreed. After the couple finished, the doctor said, “There’s nothing unusual about how you’re doing things.”
Then he charged them $35. This routine continued for several weeks. The couple would make an appointment, have their time together, pay the doctor, and leave.
Finally, the doctor asked, “Can I ask what you’re trying to find out?”
The gentleman replied, “Oh, we’re not trying to find out anything. Here’s the thing: she’s married, so we can’t go to her house. I’m married, so we can’t go to mine. The Holiday Inn charges $65, and the Hilton is $80. Here, it’s only $35, and I get $30 back from Medicare for a doctor’s visit.”
