Eve and Adam…Funny Story

Sharing is caring!

One day in the Garden of Eden, Eve called out, “God, I have a bit of an issue!”

“What’s troubling you, Eve?” asked God.

“Well, Lord, you’ve given me this incredible garden, the animals, and even that funny serpent, but I’m just feeling unsatisfied.”

“And why is that, Eve?” God inquired.

“I feel lonely, and, honestly, I’m getting pretty tired of eating apples every day,” Eve replied.

God thought for a moment and said, “Alright, Eve, I have an idea. I’ll create a companion for you. I’ll call him ‘man.’”

“What exactly is a ‘man,’ Lord?”

“He’ll be a bit rough around the edges—aggressive, a little self-centered, and he might struggle to fully understand or listen to you. But he’ll be strong, quick, and surprisingly useful for certain things like protecting, running, and gathering food.”

Eve raised an eyebrow and said, “Hmm, sounds… interesting.”

“He’s not perfect,” God admitted. “But he’s better than nothing. There’s just one catch.”

“What’s that?” Eve asked.

“You’ll need to let him believe I made him first.”
