A diner walks into a restaurant and spots a large sign on the wall that reads, “£500 if your order isn’t fulfilled.”

When the waitress comes by, he says, “I’d like an elephant’s tail on rye.”

She takes his order without a blink and heads to the kitchen.

Moments later, there’s a flurry of voices from the kitchen.

Soon, the restaurant owner marches over to the customer’s table, dropping £500 in £50 notes before him.

“You got us this time,” he says with a hint of frustration, “but let me tell you, this is the first time in 10 years we’ve run out of rye bread.”
